Assessment Procedures

Chiswick House School

Over the years we have developed a Recording and Reporting Assessment System that has assisted us in guiding the pupil’s individualized progress. Through a very detailed profiling system our teachers continuously assess all pupils in areas of learning and development from Reception and Kindergarten to Junior 5. At Junior School, continuous assessment carries more marks than examinations however, the latter gradually gain more weighting. We believe in positive reinforcement and in the added value that our programmes and teaching styles offer.

St Martin’s College

The Recording and Reporting Procedure continues at this level. It gives a clear, valid picture of student performance. Equal importance is given to continuous assessment and twice-yearly examination results.  Furthermore, particular attention is given to personal and social qualities, so very necessary for well-rounded development and the creation of a positive self image. The cumulative profiling system enables parents, staff and students to have detailed comprehensive records.
