Summer Club 

Drama Troupe holds a very successful summer club between July and September. This club operates every d ay from 9.00am to 12.30pm with a second option of 3 days ( Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Students are divided into groups according to age and activities are held specifically for every age-group. Besides the acting, singing and dance classes, other activities such as make-up skills, puppetry, making simple props and masks, circus skills, hip-hop, tap, Individual singing classes and backstage skills. All students participate in an end of summer showcase which is presented towards the beginning of September to family and friends. Past showcases have included 'Grease,' 'High School Musical,' 'Hairspray,' 'Rats,' and 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. this club is very popular and groups fill as early as April, so early booking is recommended.

Hip-Hop

The hip-hop classes at Drama Troupe are quickly gaining popularity Hip-hop dance refers to dance styles, mainly street dance styles, primarily danced to hip-hop music , or that have evolved as a part of the hip-hop culture. By its widest definition, it can include a wide range of styles such as breaking, popping, locking and krumping and even house dance. It can also include the many styles simply labelled as hip hop, old school hip hop (or hype), hip hop new style and freestyle. A Junior and a senior class are held on Wednesdays at Chiswick house School.

Singing Classes & Individual Singing Lessons

Drama Troupe boasts one of the best singing schools for children and young adults on the island. A team of experienced and qualified teachers is led by soprano Gillian Zammit. Following an audition or a recommendation by their group tutor, children may join a singing class at the age of 8 years. This class is made up of 3 students who meet once a week. Their lesson includes voice placements and warm-up exercises, sight singing, individual singing and theory. When their voices develop further at around 11 years, students move on to Individual singing lessons. These lessons are more specialised and lead to singing exams. Several students have excelled in singing exams with students obtaining prizes for the highest marks achieved in Malta. All students are given the opportunity of performing individually and in a group at vocal concerts and other performances. At present Drama Troupe has 49 singing students.
